Maelstrom Anchor Loop Knot Sterling Silver earrings

As my enthusiasm grew with the approach of St Patrick's Day (and thus spring in Vermont), I sat at my drawing table looking over some of the knots I had been drawing for earrings. I had been playing around with various iterations of a looping knot I had drawn in February. As I put pencil to paper, this design came out of nowhere. The result was a "true" knot of looping curves and angular loopbacks. (A "true" knot is one continuous line, the ear wire loop is not considered part of the knot.)
